Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only children to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into showbiz early and landed up performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she turned 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the actress. Alexandra worked on several significant international and national productions over the years. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
